Happy Vet Nurse Day!

Yesterday, we took a moment to celebrate the incredible nurses at our clinic – Helen, Elly, Kirralee and Jess.

Nurses are with your pets every step of the way during their stay. Veterinary nurses collect and run bloods, prepare patients for surgery, monitor anaesthesia, administer medications, care for hospital patients, perform reception dutiesโ€ฆ just to name a few! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿฉบ

Nurses are integral members of the veterinary profession. Today and every day, letโ€™s appreciate them! ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿถ

Meet Kirralee!

If you havenโ€™t already, meet KIRRALEE!
Kirralee joined us at the beginning of last year while studying Certificate II in Animal Studies. Kirralee got hooked and after finishing Certificate II she enrolled in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

From the get to, Kirralee has been a very driven, determined and passionate workplacement student who we have loved having. She has been so amazing that we have decided to make her a permanent member of our team despite her not yet finishing the course.

Please make her feel welcomed!

Round of A-Paws to Nurse Helen!

Helen was invited by the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA) to led a enlightening webinar on common ophthalmic procedures. Webinars are very common in the veterinary industry. They allow vets and nurses to share their knowledge and ensure all patients are continuing to receive high standards of care.Well done Helen – we are all so proud!
